We know it often feels like there are not enough hours in the day if you are a working parent with a child or children in primary school. But we can help you lighten the load with the afterschool service at our Treasure Island Childcare Centre on the main Doughiska Road.
We offer afterschool care for junior infants to third class and provide a pick-up service from Merlin Woods Primary School and Briarhill National School.
Your child will be served a hot home-cooked meal as soon as they arrive at the afterschool club. Then, after some downtime and fun with their pals, our carers will help them with their homework and encourage the children to share their thoughts and feelings.
Because ours is very much a home-from-home atmosphere, and we make sure every child in our care feels comfortable, confident and cherished.
We also involve the children in deciding what activities are on the jam-packed agenda each week. And these usually include baking, board games, quizzes, arts and crafts, imagination games, dance, music and outdoor play.
